Rain spoiled the long -awaited renewal of rivalries with Zapoi when a thunderstorm - the only rain in weeks - broke over Regents Park with Zapoi 164-3 after 19.3 overs, and the unfortunate Kimmins stranded on 93*. CtC had put in a decent bowling performance with Fairbank undoubtedly the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2-10 from four overs.
Director of Cricket Henry Rudkin confirmed he was keen for a rematch next season. "They had scored a good total, probably slightly over-par, but I think the boys had a chase in them. I heard there were some good beers after and so I'm very keen we make this an annual renewal" CtCCCC were pleased to welcome a back James Lester for his first game of the season and a welcome new addition in Brad Jameson.

Sounds like a great fixture but reckon CtC would have pissed the chase
